During an interview with Dengeki, Tetsuya Nomura shared some new details regarding the current Kingdom Hearts game in development for Nintendo’s 3DS.
Though he’s not ready to share a release date, Nomura stated that development of Kingdom Hearts 3D is “progressing rapidly” as the game is mostly up and running. He also wants the game to have the quality of a console title, despite being a handheld game. The motion and animation is supposed to be particularly impressive because of the various flashy moves you can do, such as Sora’s wall jumping. Nomura claims that the game has the most impressive character movement in gameplay in the series so far.
Nomura is aiming to release Kingdom Hearts 3D not too far in the future. KH3D will be playable on the TGS show floor this September.
